Hi Stew - I'd be interested in taking over one of your teams - Can you give me an idea about the rules of the league (style of play, etc) ...... Thanx .... Monte

Hey Monte, It's a dynasty points scoring league established 2009 on ESPN in which owners picked a franchise plus 6 players.Because ESPN doesn't allow expanded rosters over 25 some of us moved to Fantrax...hence the vacancies. Here's a link to check out the league settings: www5.fantrax.com/fantasy/leagueRulesSummary.go?leagueId=hbykph9kgfkbuxatWhen you have access click on teams to check out the players from the vacant teams. Once you claim a team you can name it what ever you like and keep or drop any player from your roster you like. However you will need 30 keepers for the draft which will be 40 rounds. The league is currently locked by Fantrax until new MLB schedules are released.

Hey Stew ..... I've been looking over the League Settings and have a few things i'm confused about .... Maybe you can help ..... I agree that no one should be able to claim players until all teams are filled ..... You should be able to keep all players frozen on waivers indefinitely (right?) .... I noticed that right now, players will become free agents on the 24th .... Can you fix that by adjusting settings under Waiver Wire section? Or should everyone already in the league just refrain from claiming players? ....... Another setting that confuses me was the "Team Minimum And Maximum Requirements" , you have an AT BATS maximum limit at 1620 (Shouldn't that be maximum games played limit) ........ Also I'm really confused as to how the Salary Cap Works ... Does your whole team count toward your cap? Or only the Active players? Or only the Reserve Players like the settings under the Salaries section says (i'm confused) ..... Can you give me a quick, simple explanation? ..... I hate to be a burden with all these questions and any help will be appreciated ..... Thanx, Monte

Monte, Rosters have been frozen so nobody can do anything at the moment. Bats are at 1620 because there's 162 games in a season and 10 offensive players per roster play each day. Salaries apply to your starting roster and reserves only. They don't include minor league or injured players.

Hey Stew .... I'm aware that there should be a 1620 Games Played Limitation for 10 offensive players but it appears that the limitation you have chosen is for AT BATS .... My experience with Fantrax Baseball is that Games Played limitations are set under the roster section (and for each individual position like Sandbox used to be years ago) ...... Anyway, that's the way it worked in my leagues last year!
